Chapter 1
It has not been so long after the first Jedi Civil Wars, of the time the Darths Malak and Revan caused so much chaos. Life was finally beginning to resume from the post war stages. However, not once did crime cease, anywhere. Deep into the slums of Coruscant, crime still ran rampant. Now more than ever because of the depleting Jedi from the wars. A child, in his own home, is picked up by his mother and placed into the closet and told to stay silent. The mother looked at the child, running her hand though his soft silver hair, down his cheek while gazing into eyes that matched the very color of his hair. She shut the shudders in front of the boy so that he would not see. She did not want him to see, she knew what would happen. The local gang had broken into their home, and they were not know for their mercy. All the boy could do was cry as his parents screamed for their lives. When the noise finally stopped, he could hear footsteps approaching the closet. Frightened, alone, and defenseless he whimpered for his mother. It was then, there was shouting among those outside. Sounds of blaster fire rang out and silenced and loud thuds on the floor were heard. The closet door open and the child curled in hopes that he would not be seen. Instead of the rough gangster he thought it would be, it was a woman. She was draped in a long black cloak with a hood draping over her face. He could not see her eyes, but what he did see was the face of a young woman that had flowing silver hair, and down on her sash hung a Jedi's famed lightsaber. She leaned over the boy and spoke with a voice that brought the boy a strange calmness, "You are safe for now, you have nothing left here and you are welcome to come with us. But, it is for you to decide." "Where's my mommy?" the boy whimpered. "I'm afraid she is gone, my dear." She turned and began to walk away and felt a tugging on her cloak. She turns to find the boy holding out is hand. "Very well. Let us go." They left, the boy's hand in her's, a grin on her face, and his life... now belonged to her.
